JosephBordonaro - Salon Owner / Artistic Director

Originally from Harmony Township, NJ, Joseph has been in the beauty industry since 1987. He did his schooling at Gordon Phillips in the 80's and has since studied with numerous stylists and teams including Vidal Sasoon, Frederic Fekkai, Wella, Chris & Sonja dove, various Tigi teams, and most recently Nick Aroja. Using Wella & Wella Koleston color for most of his career, he has recently been certified as a Wella 'Colors of the World' Colorist. Though trained in all aspects, his specialty - Coloring and Haircutting!

Joseph was co-owner of Salon 1626. Opened in 1992, he and his business partner, Susan Stitt, owned and operated Salon 1626 successfully for 14 years. He became the sole proprietor of the salon in 2006. Now, in the same location, after an extensive remodeling, he has opened his new salon FRESH.

"I encourage everyone to turn their passion into a career. I'm very fortunate because I absolutely Love what I do everyday... There's always something new and different" Joe spends his off time with his wife Barbara, and riding quads and hanging out with his two boys Elliott & Ethan. Otherwise, he's either playing the Guitar, out for a ride on his motocycle or tending his Koi Ponds.
